Regardez-Moi, meaning "Look at me" in French, represents how beauty can be unconventional and avant-garde, how the perception of, "What is beautiful?" is a mere creation of your culture and surroundings.
In these images I took the models eyebrows off and give her awkward lines across her body as a representation of the different cultures there is in the world, but even though she is "Different".
She is Beautiful.
In these black & white images, I showcase the courage that holds the misunderstood model and the braveness she represents by putting her hand over one eye; how she can close one eye but still see her own beauty and how doll and dry the image can be with no colour but beauty will always be there.
Let her fears be overshadowed by her own beauty and her skin be the world's mirror
awesome philip! Congrats =)... Jecka Parra
